To educate the youth regarding national security. In today’s modern war whole nation is a battle field, subsequently without cooperation of civilian especially youth, it may be difficult to fight against it. Defence Studies subject imparts knowledge to our youth at basic level to understand various difficulties which our nation facing nowadays’ like: – terrorism, naxalism, separatism etc. at a glance as internal security problems, a range of external problems as well. Subject helps to recognise these evils and to battle against them.

 

 

 Subject has lots of opportunities such as Civil Defence, Education, Armed Forces,  Paramilitary Forces, Civil Services and in the field of research. Particularly Indian Armed Forces and Para Military Forces are very big sector; therefore there is very large opportunity in the subject.
