Department of Fashion Designing

• To make the students self-employable.
• To increase the creativity and ingenuity of the students.
• To make them aware of latest trends and fashions and equip them with necessary skills to cater to upcoming demands.

• It’s a job oriented and self employable course.
• It provides various jobs in garment industry and fashion houses.
• One can opt for teaching in the same field as there are many fashion and textile designing institutes which provide degrees and diplomas.
• One can set up one’s own boutique or fashion house at a small scale as well as a large scale.

Activities (2021-22):

• 3 days workshop organised by Home Science and Fashion Designing department in the guidance of Renu Jindal on Best out of Waste , Painting and printing, Tye and Dye and pot printing on 13-15th Dec.,2021
• Our students Kiran and Simran (B.A. -II) secured 1st position in Rangoli competition which was organised by Department of Botany of HAU on 21-23rd Dec.,2021. Sanju student of B.A. IInd year secured 1st position in Painting competition in the same.
